22 Febbraio 2012 è la fatidica data d'uscita della nuova console di Sony, in questa data, la console mobile verrà lanciata sul mercato in quasi tutti i paesi, Usa, Europa, Africa e Australia.
Le commercializzazione parla di due tipi di console mobile, una con connessione 3G e Wifi, l'altra solo con wifi, ovviamente i prezzi cambiano, il primo modello costerà $299 mentre il secondo $249.
